In an impressive fusion of motorsports innovation and public safety measures, technology originally created by Pratt Miller Motorsports, the team behind Corvette Racing, is now being repurposed to protect first responders. At CES 2025, industrial vehicle manufacturer Oshkosh showcased how they're applying racing-derived technology to help prevent accidents involving emergency vehicles. This transfer of Corvette Racing's advanced monitoring technology to public roads has the potential to save lives.

 
The forthcoming 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is already establishing itself as one of the fastest performance vehicles in the world. With General Motors President Mark Reuss driving it around a test track in Germany, it achieved an astounding top speed of 233 mph. No other production car under $1 million has surpassed this speed. Not only did the new Corvette ZR1 consistently exceed 230 mph during several test runs, but it also set a new record for American sports cars.

Chevrolet is one of the premier names in the American automotive industry. One of their socially-conscious initiatives involves collaboration with the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). Chevrolet calls this initiative "Discover the Unexpected."

 
Chevrolet will have their hand in the global racing market in 2022, thanks to their Corvette model. The Corvette C8.R race car design is going to be used for the national IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship in the United States. It will travel to the FIA World Endurance Championship, which features roadways in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Finally, the Corvette will be included in the lineup for Le Mans next July.
