This bid ties the record for the highest amount ever offered for a Barrett-Jackson charity vehicle. In 2022, the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition achieved the same total. All proceeds from the winning bid will be donated to the Red Cross for relief efforts. A primary objective is to help the various communities across the country affected by recent natural disasters, including floods and wildfires.
