2015 Chevrolet Sonic Reviews from Husker Chevrolet

Known for its excellent safety ratings and extensive charming characteristics, the Chevy Sonic is one of the most popular models in its class. Sporting a youthful, expressive design, spacious interior and innovative technologies, the Sonic is a great car for young drivers and a valued member of Chevy's small car lineup. The newly introduced 2015 Chevy Sonic in Lincoln will be kicking off the new model year comprised of many of the same features fans have grown to love. In addition to these signature components, three slight changes have been made to the subcompact car this year, each benefiting its overall appeal. You can learn about these enhancements as well as other notable features in our 2015 Chevy Sonic review below.

One of the biggest additions to the Chevy Sonic's features list for 2015 is OnStar with 4G LTE and standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. Released across most of Chevy's lineup going into 2015, the new component allows drivers to stay connected while traveling and access a variety of safety, navigation and crash-assistance features. The system also comes with a free 3GB of data for the first three months, giving you the chance to test out its capabilities. Aside from this fresh option for the new year, the Sonic has also gained a new exterior paint color: Blue Velvet. The extra option expands the color palette and complements the car's design elements, giving buyers one more shade to choose from to enhance their car's appearance.

Coming into the new model year, the 2015 Chevy Sonic in Lincoln has also made the previously optional EcoTec 1.4L turbo engine standard on LTZ. Producing 138 horsepower and 148 lb.-ft. of torque, it stands as Sonic's top-of-the-line engine, and also powers Dusk and RS models, delivering optimal performance. The standard Ecotec 1.8L engine, while still efficient, outputs less power, distributing 138 horsepower and 125 lb.-ft. of torque.

To discover more about these powertrains and additional amenities, continue on to keep reading our 2015 Chevy Sonic review.
