2022 Chevrolet Blazer Exterior

What's New for the 2022 Chevy Blazer?

The Chevrolet Blazer carries over virtually unchanged from 2021 into the 2022 model year. While there aren't any interior or exterior modifications to the Blazer, the SUV gets some adjustments to its mechanical configuration and features by trim. This year, the lineup is shorter as two trims have been removed from the line after the 2021 model year. The 2022 model year also changes the Blazer's power, with a stronger base engine and an optional turbo engine for additional speed. There are four trim levels and a series of packages offered in 2022 to enhance and customize your ride.

2022 Blazer Trims & Features

The new base trim level for the Chevy Blazer in 2022 is the 2LT. The 2LT combines the standard features of last year's base trim with some additional conveniences to give you exceptional value. The 2LT has five seats and split-folding rear seats to maximize storage space. For technology, the Blazer has a standard eight-inch display and a user-friendly touchscreen that supports apps, music and comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upgrading to the 3LT brings more luxuries and conveniences. The 3LT replaces cloth seats with leather upholstery. The 3LT has heated seats in front and heated side mirrors. It has a power-operated liftgate and adds some additional safety aids. The third trim in the series is the RS. A stronger engine powers the RS, and it gets larger wheels for performance and style. The RS is distinguished by black exterior accents and a black front grille. A heated steering wheel is also included. The top Blazer trim is the Premier. The Premier includes all standard and optional features for the other trims, including navigation, a Bose audio system with more speakers, and a household-style 120V outlet. The Premier has heated seats in both rows, and the front row seats are also ventilated. Dynamic LED headlights are standard, and the Blazer also has wireless device charging capabilities.
