Rick Hendrick, chairman and CEO of Hendrick Automotive Group and owner of Hendrick Motorsports, secured the winning bid. The vehicle is a Stars & Steel-inspired masterpiece, hand-painted at the General Motors Design Fabrication shop, featuring distinctive blue brake calipers and coordinated blue accents. Under the hood, a twin-turbocharged V8 engine provides the elite performance expected of such a unique build.
Tunnel to Towers CEO Frank Siller highlighted the importance of this partnership, noting that General Motors and Chevrolet have consistently supported the foundation's mission to honor those who sacrifice for the nation. This contribution ensures the foundation can continue its work for catastrophically injured veterans and the families of fallen heroes.
