Chevrolet offers nine trims for the Silverado 1500. This includes High Country, ZR2, LTZ, LT Trail Boss, RST, LT, Custom Trail Boss, Custom, and the Work Truck. The High Country trim offers a 13.4 color touch-screen display, a 12.3 inch Driver Information Centre, and premium leather seats with a Super Cruise feature. The ZR2 includes an off-road cut front bumper, large underbody aluminum skid plates, and 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Mud Terrain tires. This trim is great for off-road enthusiasts. The LTZ trim adds 20-inch polished aluminum wheels to the High Country but lacks Super Cruise.

The LT Trail Boss adds a 2-inch factory suspension lift, an automatic locking rear differential, and Chevy Safety Assist, while the RST trim includes 20-inch high gloss black wheels and a front split-bench seat. The LT adds LED reflector headlights and signature daytime running lamps to the RST. It also replaces its wheels with 20-inch aluminum wheels with machined face and Grazen-painted pockets.

The Silverado 1500 offers a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine in the form of the Duramax, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and two eight-cylinder engines. One V8 produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, while the other produces 380 horsepower and 390 pound-feet. This is the new EcoTec3, which includes a 28 percent bump in fuel economy.

The 2.7 Liter four-cylinder engine produces 420 pound-feet of torque. Lastly, the Duramax 3.0 liter powertrain produces 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.
