What's New for the 2019 Chevy Trax?

Very few changes were made to the 2019 Trax, which is in the fifth year of its first generation. There will be a new Premier badge available for the liftgate. The exterior color options will see some changes as well. Drivers will no longer have the option of Red Hot but will gain Pacific Blue Metallic, Dark Copper Metallic, and Satin Steel Metallic as choices.

Which Features are Available for 2019?

In 2019, drivers can choose from the LS, LT, and Premier Trims. Each of these vehicles can comfortably seat 5 people. They are all also available in both front-wheel and all-wheel-drive versions. Since all of the trims come with the same powertrain and fuel economy, the main differences are found in the features.

Coming standard on the base level LS are things such as a 6-speaker audio system, remote keyless entry, a Chevy Infotainment 3 System featuring a 7" diagonal screen, and a rear vision camera. These vehicles come with halogen reflector headlamps, sculpted taillamps, and 16-inch painted-aluminum wheels.

Moving up to the LT trim, drivers get features such as remote start, power outside windows, LED taillamps, halogen projector-beam headlights, and roof-mounted side rails. Top-of-the-line Premier Trax models come with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, leatherette seat trim, a power sunroof, fog lamps, and Rear Park Assist.

There are many packages you can add to your Trax to make it even more convenient or fun. The Sun and Sound Package, for example, adds a power sunroof and a Bose® premium 7-speaker audio system. The Redline Edition of the Trax adds many stylish features, such as 18-in. all-season blackwall tires, black Trax badge with red outline, black grille with black surround, black mirror caps, and black beltline moldings.
